Archives in Action

University Archives supports scholarship by preserving and providing access to over 300 unique collections that chronicle the history of Washington University from 1853 to today, as well as related St. Louis history and architectural topics.

Uses of the Archive

People are often surprised to hear of the varied way that University Archive collections are put to use. Highlighted on these pages are just a few of these stories.

In some cases names or affiliations have been withheld to respect researcher privacy. If you have worked on, or know of, a project making use of University Archives materials, please let us know.
