In this session, participants will learn how to manage dissertation writing effectively. Dr. Lynne Tatlock (Germanic Languages and Literatures, Comparative Literature), a disseratation advisor to many graduate students, will discuss best practices and pitfalls to avoid. Dr. Trevor Sangrey (Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies), who completed her dissertation in 2012, will talk about her own writing experience. Writing Center staff will highlight writing support services available on campus, and librarians will briefly overview other dissertation and time management resources.
