Other Accounts

There are many other accounts you may create when using library services. Most of these you set yourself and need to remember yourself. Examples include:

  • Your citation software accounts (if you choose to use those tools)
  • Your SciFinder Web account, if you want to use this database. For more information see SciFinder entry on Databases--S
  • Passwords with various databases and most publishers' sites which allow you to save preferences, set up "alerts," etc., such as My NCBI in PubMed. MathSciNet also has username/password option for saving display preferences.
