Interlibrary Loan

Can't find what you need in WU Libraries? Interlibrary Loan (ILL) might be able to borrow it for you!

Requesting Articles

Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)
Use Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) to obtain articles, book chapters, conference proceedings, and other research materials that you need. Most articles will be posted electronically in your ILLiad account usually within 24 hours. You will be notified by e-mail when the PDF is ready to download.

There are two ways to request journal articles:

  1. Search the library's electronic databases and click on Get It button to see options for obtaining the article.  If full text is not available through WU Libraries, select ILLiad to request the article.  The article citation will be imported once you log on with your WUSTL key and password.
  2. Log on to ILLiad with your WUSTL key and password.  Click on the Article request link in the left-hand menu.  Fill in as much citation information as available. Add any comments you wish to share with library staff in the Notes field.  Click Submit Request.

ArticleReach was retired in April 2012.  If you need an article not owned by WU Libraries, simply submit your request via ILLiad (http://illiad.wustl.edu/illiad/logon.html).  We’ll still get it for you fast and deliver it electronically as a PDF.

Please note that the The Law Library and Becker Medical Library process Interlibrary Loan materials separately from Olin Library.
