This project is engaged in the process of preserving language data from Yiddish speakers of all dialects. It has collected over 6000 hours of spoken language over a fifty year period. The site provides good links to other Yiddish web sites.

"A concise and popular account of Akkadian cuneiform for the general reader." An elaborately developed site which pays homage to this fascinating language and the historical development of Mesopotamia.

To date, some 200 of the library’s 1,700 pieces of Yiddish music have been posted online.

An elaborate site on the origins of the Sumerian language replete with maps, images of counting tokens, and links to archaeological sites. A well-developed list of links to other Mesopotamian and language sites makes this page particularly valuable.
