Sephardic Culture

  • Halapid: The Society for Crypto-Judaic Studies
Investigates the history of the descendents of the "secret" Jews of Mexico and the Southwest. Articles, interviews and a journal are associated with this site.
  • Jews in Arab Lands Today: An Online Exhibit (Museum of the Diaspora, Israel)
"Jews in Arab Lands Today" is an exhibition of the work of six noted photographers. They have recorded the life of Jewish communities in Arab Lands today from their personal viewpoints, expressing their various photographic and artistic approaches.
  • Sephardi/Mizrahi Studies Caucus
Formed at the 1998 annual conference of the AJS to promote Sephardi/Mizrahi studies within Jewish Studies programs. Good links to scholars and their research, a discussion group, course syllabi, and organizations.
  • Sephardic House (New York)
A national institute established to foster the promotion of Sephardic history and culture. An excellent source for professional papers, genealogical research, national organizations, and email discussion groups.
