RefWorks-COS has recently announced their Alumni Program which gives lifelong access to users that are alumni of subscribing institutions. Any alumni, whether they already have a RefWorks account or not, now have access to RefWorks though this program and there is no fee to participate!  If the University cancels its subscription, then the alumni access would also be canceled, but could be continued by purchasing an individual license to RefWorks.

Some things you should know about the program-

Who is eligible to receive lifelong access?
Any alumni, whether they already have a RefWorks account or not, will have continued access to RefWorks through this program so long as WU continues to subscribe to RefWorks.  If you don't have a RefWorks account already sign up for an Individual Account.

How do alumni log in to their RefWorks accounts since they are off-campus?
To access your RefWorks account as an alumni, you will need to log in using our RefWorks group code -- RWWUSTL.

Important information for alumni--  
Please set your "Type of User" designation to "Alumni" in your account settings. This can be done by going to Tools > Update User Information.
