Research & Technology Workshops

NEW FOR SPRING 2024

The University Libraries is pleased to announce two new research workshop programs for spring 2024.

30 Minutes for the WINS (Workshops to Introduce New Students) Research Workshops

WINS Research Workshops are just one part of the Information Literacy Instruction Program. These workshops were developed specifically for new undergraduate or transfer students. The workshops provide you with information and skills that are important to know about the University Libraries, which will put you on a path to academic success.

WINS Research Workshops offer flexibility because the workshops can be taken in any order, and you can take as many or as few of the workshops as meets your interests/needs.

Half Hour to the STARs (Supplemental Training in Academic Research) Research Workshops

STAR Research Workshops are another part of the Information Literacy Instruction Program. These workshops build on the basics covered in WINS, but they can be taken even if you haven’t already attended a WINS workshop.

STAR Research Workshops offer flexibility because the workshops can be taken in any order, and you can take as many or as few of the workshops as meets your interests/needs.
