Academic Libraries Support Student Success

Abstract: The article reports on a survey by the Association of College and Research Libraries on how academic libraries support high-impact educational practices that benefits student retention, graduation rates, and grade point average. Highlights include percentage of 800,000 instructional sessions that were digital or electronic, average reference transactions and consultations per year by doctoral degree-granting institutions, and growth of electronic resource usage in academic libraries.
