This database refers to official and unofficial 556 travel journals written in mostly Chinese and some Korean languages for 700 years from the Koryo dynasty to the Joseon dynasty by ambassadors and entourages who visited ‘China.’ It contains all of what they saw, heard felt, and surveyed during their trips including various eyewitness accounts of Chinese customs, hence it vividly describes pictures of then lives and cultures.
