Special Collection Procedures
For the safety and preservation of the collections:
- Store bags, coats, and any food/drink (including water bottles) in the provided closet
- Use ONLY pencil when writing notes.
- Keep all materials flat on the table, or in provided book rest
- Ask the staff if you have any questions or concerns!

All researchers, both in-person and remote should use these forms
- paper copy can be printed and brought if visiting in-person;
- or pdf with electronic signature can be returned as email attachment to spec@wumail.wustl.edu
- Patron Information Form** All researchers (both remote and in-person) should complete this form once per year.
- Paging Request Form* Use this form if visiting the reading room in-person. (complete one per visit)
* List items you want to use when researching.
* As a general guideline you can ask for 6 boxes or 6 books for each day you plan to visit. - Reproduction Request Form* Use this form if you have a remote request, or need copies sent after your in-person visit.
* List items you want sent to you as digital copies.
* Fees vary by type and amount of item requested.
