Come Discuss the Results...

On Tuesday, October 27th, at 3:30 p.m., Roger Schonfeld, Director of Library and Scholarly Communications Program at Ithaka S+R will discuss the results of the Ithaka Local Faculty Survey which took place at Washington University from March 3-29, 2015. Ithaka S+R is a non-profit research and consulting service that helps the academic community take advantage of digital technologies, preserve the scholarly record, and advance research and teaching in a sustainable way. 

The purpose of this survey was to understand faculty perceptions of the emerging digital landscape and its impact on research, teaching, and learning outcomes. Topics addressed in the survey include:

  • The evolving role of the academic library

  • How scholars discover and access needed information resources

  • Instructional practices and needs, and

  • Elements of the research lifecycle
