Interlibrary Loan

Can't find what you need in WU Libraries? Interlibrary Loan (ILL) might be able to borrow it for you!

ILL Policies for Other Libraries

Washington University's Olin Library supplies loans and photocopies of materials to libraries, organizations, businesses, and research agencies. Libraries may submit requests via OCLC to our symbol WTU. Non-OCLC libraries may register with us and submit a request via ILLiad.

Interlibrary loan is a library-to-library transaction. Individuals should contact the academic or corporate library with which they are affiliated or their nearest public library to inquire about borrowing items from our collection.

Washington University Law Library (OCLC symbol WUL) and the Washington University School of Medicine (OCLC symbol WUM) have separate interlibrary loan operations. Please contact them directly to borrow materials from their collections.

Loan period: 4 weeks (one 4-week renewal may be granted)
