The Smithsonian Image Gallery contains over 530,000 images from several archival repositories and museums at the Smithsonian, and includes photographs, paintings, sculptures, folk art, postcards, are more. Images can be searched by physical format, culture group, or repository.
The Library of Congress collection contains digital images from the Prints & Photographs Division, including photographs, fine art and popular prints and drawings, posters, and architectural and engineering drawings, with a focus on documenting the history of the United States and Americans.
The World Digital Library showcases items from important collections around the world, and includes images from books, journals, manuscripts, maps, prints and photographs, films, and sound recordings.
