The German Broadcasting Archive (DRA) is a joint institution of the ARD (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunkanstalten der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Consortium of public broadcasters in Germany)) and Deutschlandradio. The archives encompasses signifticant parts of the audi-visual tradition in Germany and reflects the development of German broadcasting before 1945 as well as radio and television of the former GDR.  Includes background articles, audio recordings, images, and more.
