Sessions will include:

  • Writing the Dissertation: includes faculty and Writing Center staff suggested best practices for writing the dissertation

  • Funding:  discover grant and funding opportunities for Humanities scholars

  • Altac: alternative career paths for Humanities PhDs

  • Advanced Research: writing a research plan, discovering subject databases, Q&A with subject librarians

  • Apps: discover how you can use tablets and smartphones for research

  • Tech:  Advanced Zotero; Introduction to Evernote & OneNote; Introduction to Scrivener; Googling and Searching like a Pro

Note: Attendees are asked to bring their laptops as well as mobile devices (smartphones, tablets).  Please let us know if you cannot bring a laptop and one will be provided for you on that day.
