Do I need any  software to view videos streamed for reserves?

All films for streaming reserves are accessed through a web browser such as Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Internet Explorer.

If the streaming film is licensed from a commercial vendor, you may need to have the most updated version of your browser or Adobe Flash.

Videos streamed in-house by Olin LIbrary use Adobe Flash or HTML5.

What should I do if I can't get a video to play?

  1. Make sure your browser, especially Firefox, is not blocking Adobe Flash applications.  

  2. Confirm that you have the most recent version of Adobe Flash installed.

  3. Confirm that your browser is up to date.
