Harland Bartholomew and Associates Collection

  • Located in the Washington University Special Collections, the Harland Bartholomew and Associates (HBA) Collection is a detailed source for maps of St. Louis in the 20th century.  
  • Harland Bartholomew began his career in St. Louis. The HBA firm did work in both St. Louis city, county, and other communities in the metropolitan are including in the Illinois Metro east area
  • In addition to St. Louis, HBA worked across the United States, and also did some international work.  

In addition to Special Collections, various types of historic maps are available from WashU Libraries.
