Scholarly Communications and Digital Publishing Services (ScholPub) offers copyright consultations, publishing support, access to the institutional repository, and Open Access (OA) digital publishing tools to the WashU community. While we support scholarly communications of all kinds, we emphasize digital open access works.  

To that end, we have five service areas:

1. Copyright support
2. Digital publishing tools
3. Institutional Repository support (depositing & using materials)
4. Persistent identifiers (ORCIDs, ISBN/ISSN, DOI creation, etc.)
5. Publishing support (APCs, OA)  

Currently, we administer four platforms:

1. Open Scholarship: the institutional repository
2. Janeway Journals: a journal hosting platform free to WashU community
3. Pressbooks: a digital book publishing tool for WashU faculty to publish OA books
4. Reclaim Hosting: web space for WashU community members to build digital projects

And we are the point of contact on the Danforth campus for
