To submit your research data: 

1. Visit: https:/data.library.wustl.edu

2. Sign in to your account with SSO

3. In the top navigation bar, click Submit - Dataset

4. A submission form will open

   • Fill in the form fields as much as possible

   • Upload your files

   • Be sure to include a Readme file

   • Click "Submit"

What happens after you submit:

1. You will receive a confirmation email.

2.  A curator will assign a draft DOI, begin the curation process, and contact you to let you know curation has begun

3. The curator will review the data for FAIRness (findability, accessibility, interoperability, resuability)

4. Once the initial review occurs, the curator may get back to you with questions (within 5 business days)

5. Once you and the curator have settled on changes to make the data FAIR, the curator will:

   • make sure the FAIR data is uploaded

   • make sure the FAIR readme is uploaded

   • update the metadata

   • make the DOI live

6. You will receive a confirmation email that the submission has been published.
