Other Accounts

There are many other accounts you may create when using library services. Most of these you set yourself and need to remember yourself. Examples include:

  • Your citation software accounts (if you choose to use those tools)
  • Your SciFinder Web account, if you want to use this database. For more information see SciFinder entry on Databases--S
  • Passwords with various databases and most publishers' sites which allow you to save preferences, set up "alerts," etc., such as My NCBI in PubMed.

Library Accounts

You do not need to do anything special to use the library.  Please bring your WU ID with you when you come to pick-up/check-out materials.

What is the WUSTL Key?

WUSTL Key is a university logon and password that is used for most university services. Use it whenever you see:

At the WU Libraries you can use your WUSTL Key to:

  • Login to any public computer in the Libraries
  • Connect to the proxy server from off-campus
  • Manage your library account through My Catalog
  • Renew or request books
  • Search for and retrieve articles
  • Order materials through MOBIUS and Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)
  • Access online course reserves
  • Log in to Find it! from on or off-campus
