External Tools (also known as “applications,”  “apps,” and/or “LTIs”) are developed by other third party vendors to integrate with the Canvas LMS. The following are recommended apps to add to your course. Please note, the ARES integration is currently on hold and will not be available until Spring 2020.

Redirect Tool: use the redirect tool to add the Library's Website or your Course Guide built by your librarian to your course navigation. Some sites will not open directly within Canvas. In these cases, the page will open in a new tab outside of Canvas.
