Math Ebooks
Most of these links are digitizing projects containing older materials. They are generally NOT included in our catalog unless specifically requested. They are often not included in the general ebook sites either.

- American Institute of Mathematics Open Textbook Initiative The American Institute of Mathematics (AIM) seeks to encourage the adoption of open source and open access mathematics textbooks. The AIM Editorial Board has developed evaluation criteria to identify the books that are suitable for use in traditional university courses. The Editorial Board maintains a list of Approved Textbooks which have been judged to meet these criteria.
- AMS Open Math NotesRepository of freely downloadable mathematical works in progress hosted by the American Mathematical Society. It contains draft works such as course notes, textbooks, and research expositions; and items previously published in refereed publications of the AMS.

Recommendations
WU Dissertations
Math masters theses and doctoral dissertations, through May 2009, are shelved at the West Campus Library. There is an additional set housed in the Pfeiffer Physics Library, Compton 340, which is current, but not included in the Washington University Libraries catalog. The WU ETD Repository has August 2009+. Fulltext for most doctoral dissertations, 1996+, is available online in Dissertations & Theses @ Washington University in St. Louis.
