What is Mental Health?

According to MentalHealth.gov, mental health is everything that has to do with our emotional, psychological, and well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

Why is Mental Health Important?

A lot of everyday things can be affected by a decline in mental health such as a person's thinking, mood, and behavior.

Having good mental health can help people to realize and understand their full potential, better cope with the stresses of life, work more productively, and make meaningful contributions in their communities.
